About Jens:
First licensed (VHF/UHF only) at the age of 16 in 1983 and upgraded to a full
licence in March ´84,
Jens started DXing right away, achieving DXCC 18 months later. He currently has
well over 300 entities confirmed.
In 2002 he became secretary of
HSC. Main interests in ham radio include DXing, rag chewing at any speed
with a tendency to do so using QRQ, Jens operates in contests on HF and VHF/UHF
and is a 100% CW operator.
Professionally, Jens is employed with a company running supermarkets in Germany,
where he is responsible for new projects, doing all the necessary market
research and negotiations with local authorities and construction companies.
