About Falk:
In 1976, as a seventeen-year-old boy in the south-eastern part of the former GDR, Falk heard his first amateur radio station,  using an old BC receiver.

Eight years later he finally became Y54NL and used that call from Dresden and Berlin, until 1989, when the Berlin wall came down and many things changed. The new call issued was DL7UTA, used until 1995.

Falk has been able to travel and see all the places he only only had talked about before - a very enjoyable experience
